What this plugin does
The LernHive WBT format turns a course into exactly one PDF training (web based training). Everyone who opens the course lands directly in the training viewer; there is no course page to click through.

Core concepts
WBT course
A Moodle course that uses the LernHive WBT format. It holds exactly one activity of type WBT (PDF). Reading progress and completion belong to that activity (see the WBT (PDF) user documentation).
Journeys by role
Learner: open a training
- Open the course from My courses or a course link.
- You land directly in the training viewer.
- If the training is hidden or restricted for you, you see the course page with Moodle's usual restriction information instead. If the course has no training yet, the page says There is no training available for you in this course yet.
Trainer: create a WBT course
- Create a course and set Format to LernHive WBT format in the Course format section of the course settings.
- Save. You are taken straight to the form that adds the WBT (PDF) activity, because the course needs exactly one.
- Upload the PDF and set the completion conditions (see the WBT (PDF) user documentation).
From then on, everyone who opens the course lands directly in the viewer. New WBT courses also get the LernHive Bookmarks and course progress block.
Trainer: edit the training
- Turn Edit mode on in the course. With editing on you stay on the course page.
- Edit, hide or replace the activity there.
Settings that matter
The format has no site-level settings and no format options in the course settings.
Limitations
- One training per course; further activities are not part of the concept.
- No cover page before the viewer.
- With editing on, or when the training is hidden or restricted, the course page is shown instead of the redirect.
Troubleshooting
"LernHive WBT format" is missing in the Format list. → The format or the WBT (PDF) activity is not installed or is disabled. A site administrator checks Site administration → Plugins → Course formats and Activity modules.
Learners see an empty course page. → The course has no visible training yet, or it is hidden or restricted. Check the activity's visibility and access restrictions.
I cannot get to the course page as a trainer. → Turn Edit mode on; with editing on there is no redirect.
